At Psychiatric Solutions, we offer an Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program for adolescents experiencing emotional and / or behavioural issues who do not require inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. We help our adolescent patients resolve conflicts with people, understand feelings and problems, and learn new coping skills. We use diagnostic evaluation and propose treatment plans based on current scientific research.
Find out if your child can benefit from our Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program when you call (281) 302-6636 for a prompt program assessment.
What are the benefits?
Our program has proven to be effective for patients with specific goals, such as behaviour change or improved relations with friends or family. If your goals are more general in nature, such as decreased symptoms of depression or anxiety, our program may also be beneficial to you. Patients come to our centre 3 days a week, 3 hours a day (4 p.m. to 6:50 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday), which affords them some flexibility in their personal lives.
The benefits of our adolescent intensive outpatient program include:
Extensive, professional help to reduce behavioural health symptoms and substance abuse problems in an outpatient setting
Group, individual, and family therapy sessions to improve the quality of life of our adolescent patients
Harmonious home and school environments through family education and treatment
Stabilization in family communication and preparation of the adolescent for a successful transition into a lower level of care
Free transportation available for local patients
